I must say that on this tour we have engaged in several days of research, all of this to let you live the same emotions that we had at discovering this wonderful area, admiring the stunning beauty of these hills, savoring the fragrance of this wonderful DOCG wines and tasting the typical local cuisine Veneta.
Tour details
- Departure from Cortina
- Arrival in Vittorio Veneto to visit the northernmost vineyards DOCG area with tasting of Prosecco Superiore DOCG and salami.
- Guided tour of the famous “Molinetto della Croda”, an ancient water mill built in 1630 and still working, with demonstration of grinding corn, followed by a short walk along the nature trail of the waterfall and tasting of the famous Wine Passito of Refrontolo and Prosecco Superiore.
- Lunch on the terrace of a quaint restaurant with a magnificent view of the famous hills of “Cartizze”.
- Guided tour of a prestigious winery with tasting of Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
- A brief walk in the small square of the town of Valdobbiadene, the “capital” of Prosecco.
- Visit the famous “Osteria senza Oste” literally translated “Tavern without innkeeper”, it is an old house located on a hill with a magnificent view of the hills of Cartizze, which has the feature, as you may have guessed from the name, of having no innkeeper but to offer to all travelers the ability to enter and choose what you want among wines and salami, and then pay themselves for what you have consumed.
- Guided tour of a famous sausage factory, where you can see how they produce and season with great wisdom the typical products of the region.
At the end of tour, followes a tasting of the various salami accompanied by their own Prosecco. - Departure for return to Cortina
